is one of the right-bank streets of Warsaw, which consists of 4 smaller parts: Stara and Nowa Praga, Pelcowizna and Szmulowizna. It is directly adjacent to Targowek
, Praga Poludnie
and a short section with Bialoleka
, while its neighbors beyond the Vistula are more prominent districts:Srodmiescie
Being viewed as notorious for many years, Praga Polnoc
was slightly forgotten by investors. A silent company, not entirely legitimate interests or neglected tenements effectively deterred people from visiting this district. However, unfavorable opinions about Praga Polnoc
are a thing of the past. For several years, this region has been dynamically changing, taking advantage of its intimate character. Some of the tenements have been revitalized, becoming the gems of Old Praga. The creation and expansion of the second metro line has become an impulse for residential and commercial developers to rediscover Praga Polnoc
. Well-developed public transport in the form of numerous trams, buses and the aforementioned metro line, as well as proximity to the center of Warsaw, makes the potential of this part of the city more and more used. It is important that new investments refer to the character of the district and complement it.
Although Praga Polnoc
is not at the forefront of districts in terms of existing office resources, two new investments deserve a special mention here. The Praga Koneser Center, which was put into use in 2018, is a mixed-use type of property, meaning various utility functions. The revitalization of the historic buildings of the Koneser vodka factory and the creation of new facilities with a characteristic style have been appreciated by experts in Poland as well as internationally. As part of the project the following were created: residential buildings, office space, Moxy hotel, Polish Vodka Museum and numerous commercial premises along with a rich gastronomic offer. The Koneser Praga Center improved the image of the entire Praga Polnoc
and developed further initiatives, eg Otwarta Zabkowska, or weekend cultural and entertainment events for all age groups. Another project that follows in the footsteps of Koneser is currently being built on Szwedzka Street - Bohema Praga. Similarly to Koneser, this project is being carried out at the former plants and the buildings located there will be revitalized. The whole project will have a mixed-use character with a residential part, a modern office offer, an event and cultural space. Just near the investment, the Szwedzka underground station will be built at any moment.
Both the Praga Centrum Koneser and Bohema Praga are attracted by start-up companies that are looking for original office space in Warsaw. The rental offices offered in these projects in Praga Polnoc
are a real treat for those who like to spend time actively after work.
The remaining office buildings located in Praga Polnoc
were created a few years ago. The largest objects include objects such as Dominanta Praska, which is called a thermometer by local residents, Pryzmat Praga, Centrum Milenium or Kijowska 5.
