Gdynia, a city located in the Pomeranian voivodeship, has the advantage of its close proximity to the Baltic Sea. Together with Gdansk and Sopot, it is part of the Tri-City agglomeration, commonly known as the Tricity. At present, Gdynia has over 246,000 inhabitants, and the city’s area is about 135 km2. Thus, it is the largest Polish city that is not a provincial city.
